Welcome to Chandrakona Municipality, newly decorated with a blend of tradition, heritage, culture and modernity. Every morning, the sleepy city wakes up to the tune of the National Anthem. Municipal workers are always trying to present our beloved city in a bright image in the court of the world. We are determined to provide all kinds of services to the people with the sincere efforts of municipal workers of all levels who are steadfast in their ideals, devotion and duty.
The responsibility of Pourapita of Chandrakona Municipality is of utmost importance to me.
I have never backed down to establish my own opinion and path for a healthy culture. Being responsible citizen myself, I have always tried to be active in realizing the rights of backward women. Uncompromising struggle for the improvement of education and health services is ongoing, will continue.
I am continuously trying to fulfil the place of faith, trust in me with utmost dignity. The successes that Chandrakona Municipality has achieved during my tenure are the results of team efforts and I took the responsibility of the failure on my head.
There is still a long way to go, a lot of works have not been done yet. Remove all the ugliness, misinformation and please work for the sake of people.

Vice Chairperson Desk
Being the Vice Chairperson of the Chandrakona Municipality I feel immense pride and responsibility of accomplishing the duties entrusted upon me. I feel myself responsible to look after the needs of the people of the different sections of society living in this Chandrakona Municipal area. I love to see the development brought about by the joint efforts of the Chairman, all the Councillors and the local people of this Municipality. Looking after the needs of the people and solving their problems and being available for them at their time of need is a priority for me and I always stay by it.
I would like to invite suggestions from the people of this Municipality so that we can all work towards the betterment and development of Chandrakona Municipal area and flourish with flying colours.
